Why did I start a Science Blog?

by Dylan Gourdine | Nov 23, 2025 | Dylan’s Lab | 1 comment

MY WHY:

  • My desire to inform and educate
  • My sense of community and responsibility
  • My curiosity and interest in science
  • My belief is that knowledge should be shared. It can help protect and keep people safe

I began this science blog at 13 years old. Science is my absolute favorite subject. It really sparks my curiosity and drives me to want to learn more every day, and I want to share this excitement with others. I started this blog because I want to use what I learn to help others stay aware, make healthy choices, and understand how science affects our lives. By sharing this knowledge, I am doing my part to help make a difference in the world.

I want to share what is happening in our country and around the world. Everyone may not have time to research or search for credible sources, and reliable information. My goal is to make important science and public health issues and topics easy to find and understandable.

In my blog, I will share factual information and updates, interesting discoveries, and fun science facts that show how science connects to our daily experiences. I will also highlight scientists, doctors, and community leaders who are making a difference. Learning about their work will remind us that science isn’t just happening in labs, it is shaping our world and keeping us safe.

If you have any questions, ideas, or have something you want to share, I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to reach out and connect. Learning is always better when we do it together and can help foster a community.

Thank you for visiting, and welcome to my world of science, discovery, and helping others through information. I am so happy you are here!
